The ship is equipped with two hydraulically operated winches: a BT winch with 1,500 ft. of 1/8″ diameter wire and a larger winch with 2,000 ft. of 3/16″ diameter wire. An A-Frame on the stern is used for trawling and hauling heavy gear.
Electronic and navigation equipment include a 1/4 to 16 nautical mile radar, DGPS Chart Plotter, and depth sounder. Safety equipment includes; E.P.I.R.B., life raft, PFD’s, fire fighting equipment, automatic halon system and dry chemical extinguishers
